Description
Chemical structure: 17a-methyl-17b-hydroxy-l,4-androstadien-3-one Methandrostenolone binds tightly to the androgen receptor in order to exert its effects. These include dramatic increases in protein synthesis, glycogenolysis, and muscle strength over a short space of time. Methandrostenolone is a derivative of testosterone, modified so that the hormone’s androgenic properties are reduced and its anabolic (tissue building) properties preserved.
Having a lower level of relative androgenicity than testosterone, methandrostenolone is classified as an “anabolic” agent, although quite a distinct androgenic side is still present.
